Truck Prohibition Order: Donaldson Bridge

I, Troy Webb, Executive Director of Maintenance and Operations, Department of Public Works, as designated by the Minister of Public Works under subsection 20(1) of Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, hereby order that the roads described below and as depicted in the attached in Appendix A are closed to trucks with a registered weight exceeding 3 000 kg, except those making local deliveries:
Truck Prohibition: COL084 Donaldson Bridge (Lake Road)
Trucks are prohibited from crossing the COL084 Donaldson Bridge on Lake Road, located between Trunk 6 (Tatamagouche) and Millbrook Road.
• Trucks approaching from the Wentworth direction must be advised that they cannot proceed past the Lake Road/Millbrook Road intersection unless they are travelling via Millbrook Road.
• Trucks are not permitted to travel Lake Road from Trunk 6 at Tatamagouche.
This order is effective on and after the date it is published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area affected by the order in accordance with subsection 20(1A) of the Public Highways Act.
