Lennox Passage Provincial Park Designation
made under Section 8 of the
Provincial Parks Act
R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 367
O.I.C. 85-227 (March 12, 1985), N.S. Reg. 53/85
The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forests dated the 14th day of February, A.D., 1985, pursuant to Section 2 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1967, the Provincial Parks Act, is pleased to:
(a) constitute all that area of land situate at Lennox Passage, in the County of Richmond, owned by Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia, to be a Provincial Park, the said area of land being described in Schedule “A” and shown outlined in red on the copy of Crown Land Records Plan No. E-5-63 marked Schedule “B”, both Schedules attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and
(b) declare that the Park shall be known by the name of “Lennox Passage Provincial Park”.

All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being at Lennox, Richmond County, Province of Nova Scotia, said lot being shown on Plan No. P-101/84 on file in the Department of Lands and Forests Office at Halifax, Nova Scotia, said lot being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the northerly boundary of Provincial Highway Route No. 320, said point being S 83° 07' 07" E, 338.94 feet from Nova Scotia Coordinate Monument No. 2623 having coordinate values of North 16, 567, 117.22 feet and East 14, 885, 533.78 feet based on the Nova Scotia 3º Transverse Mercator Projection, Zone 4, with a Central Meridian of 61°-30' West Longitude;
From thence (by grid bearings) N 11° 37' 51" W, 35.22 feet to Survey Marker No. R3324;
Thence continuing N 11° 37' 51" W, 204.56 feet to Survey Marker No. R3323;
Thence N 11° 01' 56" W, 2152.27 feet to Survey Marker No. R3322;
Thence continuing N 11° 01' 56" W, 20 feet more or less to the ordinary high water mark of Lennox Passage;
Thence in a northeasterly direction following the various courses of the ordinary high water mark of Lennox Passage 950 feet more or less to the southwesterly angle of lands of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada;
Thence following the southerly boundary of lands of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada N 86° 58' 40" E, 12 feet more or less to Survey Marker No. R4273, said survey marker being N 46° 59' 15" E, 831.16 feet from the last described Survey Marker No. R3322 and also being S 53° 56' 16" E, 2838.83 feet from Nova Scotia Coordinate Monument No. 2613 having coordinate values of North 16, 571, 662.07 feet and East 14, 883, 722.98 feet;
Thence continuing to follow the southerly boundary of lands of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada N 86° 58' 40" E, 5.31 feet to Survey Marker No. R4275;
Thence continuing to follow the southerly boundary of lands of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada N 86° 58' 40" E, 32.14 feet to Survey Marker No. R4276;
Thence continuing to follow the southerly boundary of lands of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada N 86° 58' 40" E, 35.82 feet to Survey Marker No. R4274;
Thence continuing to follow the southerly boundary of lands of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada N 86° 58' 40" E, 15 feet more or less to the ordinary high water mark of Poulamon Bay;
Thence in a southeasterly and southwesterly direction following the various courses of Poulamon Bay and a cove known as Anse a la Chaloupe, 5250 feet more or less to a point on the northerly boundary of the aforedescribed Provincial Highway Route No. 320;
Thence northwesterly following the northerly boundary of Provincial Highway Route No. 320, 70 feet more or less to the place of beginning containing 92 acres more or less.
Subject to a right-of-way 30 feet wide conveyed to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada by Order in Council No. 83-1143 dated the 11th day of October A.D. 1983.
