Plaster Provincial Park Designation
made under Section 8 of the
Provincial Parks Act
R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 367
O.I.C. 73-232 (March 6, 1973), N.S. Reg. 134/73
The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forests dated the 4th day of January, A.D., 1973, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2 of Chapter 244 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1967, the Provincial Parks Act, is pleased to
(a) constitute all that area of land including land covered with water owned by Her Majesty in right of the Province of Nova Scotia, and situate at or near Little River, in the County of Victoria, Province of Nova Scotia, to be a provincial park, said area of land being included within the boundaries of the lands described in Schedule “A”attached to the report and recommendation, and shown outlined on the Plan of Survey marked Schedule “B” attached to the report and recommendation; and
(b) declare the name by which the park shall be known as “Plaster Provincial Park”.

Plaster Provincial Park
All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being near Little River, County of Victoria, Province of Nova Scotia, shown on plan #E-5-24 on file at the Crown Land Records Office, Department of Lands and Forests, Halifax and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an iron post and stones No. 2023, situated on the easterly boundary of a paved highway leading from Indian Brook to Ingonish commonly known as the Cabot Trail;
From thence following the aforementioned boundary of the paved highway in a northeasterly direction to iron post and stones No. 2024, being on an astronomic bearing of north seventy-four degrees fifty-one minutes east, eight decimal ninety-eight chains from the aforementioned iron post and stones No. 2023;
Thence continuing along the easterly boundary of the aforementioned paved road a distance of seventeen chains one link as measured along the edge of the pavement to point “A” as shown on said plan #E-5-24;
Thence (by a magnetic bearing in the year 1965) south forty-three degrees forty-five minutes east sixteen chains more or less to point “B”, situated on or near the mean high water line of St. Ann’s Bay;
Thence following several courses of the mean high water line of St. Ann’s Bay in a southwesterly direction until it reaches point “C” as shown on said plan, said point “C” being situate on the mean high water line of St. Ann’s Bay, and being by an astronomic bearing of south sixty-nine degrees fourteen minutes east, nine chains fifteen links from the place of beginning;
Thence by an astronomic bearing of north sixty-nine degrees fourteen minutes west, one decimal seventy-five chains more or less to iron post and stones No. 2026;
Thence continuing north sixty-nine degrees fourteen minutes west, seven decimal forty chains to the place of beginning containing 30 acres more or less.
Excepting and reserving from the herein described lands 0.7 acres, deeded to the Dominion of Canada as recorded in the Baddeck Registry Office, Book 3, Page 323, dated August 4, 1952.
