Tatamagouche Provincial Park Designation
made under Section 8 of the
Provincial Parks Act
R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 367
O.I.C. 74-1372 (December 19, 1974), N.S. Reg. 130/74
The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forests dated the 26th day of November, A.D., 1974, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2 of Chapter 244 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1967, the Provincial Parks Act, is pleased to:
(a) constitute all that area of land including land covered with water owned by Her Majesty in right of the Province of Nova Scotia, and situate at or near Tatamagouche, in the County of Colchester, Province of Nova Scotia, to be a Provincial Park, said area of land being included within the boundaries of the lands described in Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, and shown outlined on the Plan of Survey marked Schedule “B”, also attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, and
(b) declare the name by which the park shall be known as “Tatamagouche Provincial Park”.

Tatamagouche Provincial Park
All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being at or near Tatamagouche, County of Colchester, Province of Nova Scotia as the same is shown on Plan E-8-54 recorded
in the Crown Land Registry office, Department of Lands and Forests, Halifax and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the southern boundary of Highway No. 6 and the northern boundary of the old highway;
Thence northeasterly along the said southern boundary line of Highway No. 6 to the intersection of said southern boundary line of Highway No. 6 and the northwestern boundary of the said old highway;
Thence southwesterly and westerly along the northwestern and north boundary of the said old highway to the place of beginning.
The above described land containing an area of fourteen (14) acres more or less.
All bearings are magnetic of the year 1973.
