Treasury and Policy Board Order approved by clause (a) of O.I.C. 2004-358
The Treasury and Policy Board, pursuant to clause 16(1)(a) of Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, hereby designates the Sydney Tar Ponds Agency (NS) as a special operating agency.
Clause (a) of O.I.C. 2011-344
The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism, dated September 6, 2011, and pursuant to Section 16 of Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased to:
(a) designate the tourism marketing and industry development secretariat of the Department of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism as a special operating agency, to be known as the Nova Scotia Tourism Agency;

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Advanced Education dated April 15, 2014, and pursuant to Section 16 of Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased to:
(a) designate the Apprenticeship Training Division of the Skills and Learning Branch, Department of Labour and Advanced Education, as a special operating agency, to be known as the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency, effective as of July 1, 2014;

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated October 20, 2015, and pursuant to Section 16 of Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased to:
(a) designate a special operating agency in accordance with the Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children Restorative Inquiry and the Terms of Reference, to be known as the Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children Special Operating Agency, effective October 30, 2015;
