Royal Gazette Part II Establishment Regulations

made under Section 18 of the
Communications and Information Act

as amended by O.I.C. 1999-185 (April 21, 1999), N.S. Reg. 41/99

 

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister in charge of the Administration of the Communications and Information Act dated the 25th day of August, 1977, pursuant to Section 17 of the said Act, is pleased to:

1 prescribe that the Royal Gazette shall be published in two parts, described as Royal Gazette Part I and Royal Gazette Part II;

2 prescribe that the Royal Gazette Part I shall not have contained or published in it, after the 30th day of August, 1977, regulations falling within the meaning of the word regulation under the Regulations Act;

3 prescribe that on and from August 1, 1977, the Royal Gazette Part II be published in the form and mode set forth in Appendix B attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation of the Minister in charge of Administration of the Communications and Information Act dated the 25th day of August, 1977, and shall be published and distributed at such dates as the Executive Director of Communications and Information deems appropriate, but not less than once each calendar month;

4 prescribe that the Royal Gazette Part II shall be used exclusively for the publication of regulations falling within the meaning of the word regulation under the Regulations Act;

6 order that one copy of each edition of the Royal Gazette Part II shall be made available at no cost to any person to whom annual bound volumes of the Statutes of Nova Scotia are made available at no cost.
