The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated January 14, 2003, and pursuant to Section 3 of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Court Act, is pleased to appoint Judge Patrick H. Curran of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as Chief Judge of the Provincial Court for a term of office of five years, effective January 31, 2003.
