The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated September 8, 2005, pursuant to Sections 3, 5 and 21A of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Court Act, and subsections 5(1) and (2) of Chapter 159 of the said Revised Statutes, the Family Court Act, is pleased, effective on and after September 2, 2005, to:
(a) appoint Jamie S. Campbell, Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, a barrister of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia of at least five years standing, to be a Judge of the Provincial Court and Family Court for the Judicial District of the Province of Nova Scotia; and
(b) appoint Anne Derrick, Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, a barrister of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia of at least five years standing, to be a Judge of the Provincial Court and Family Court for the Judicial District of the Province of Nova Scotia.
