The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated June 2, 2009, and pursuant to Sections 3, 5 and 21A of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Court Act, and Section 5 of Chapter 159 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Family Court Act, is pleased to appoint Pierre Muise, of Tusket, in Yarmouth County, a barrister of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia of at least five years standing, to be a Judge of the Provincial Court and the Family Court for the Judicial District of the Province of Nova Scotia effective on and after June 5, 2009.
