The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated April 6, 2011, and pursuant to Sections 3 and 5 of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Court Act, and Section 5 of Chapter 159 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Family Court Act, is pleased, effective on and after April 12, 2011, to:
(a) appoint Warren Zimmer of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, a barrister of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia of at least five years standing, to be a Judge of the Provincial Court and the Family Court for the Judicial District of the Province of Nova Scotia; and
(b) appoint Raymond Morse of Truro, Colchester County, a barrister of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia of at least five years standing, to be a Judge of the Provincial Court and the Family Court for the Judicial District of the Province of Nova Scotia.
