The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated November 23, 2021, and pursuant to subsection 6A(4) of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Provincial Court Act, is pleased to amend the Regulations Respecting Part-time Judges of the Provincial Court, N.S. Reg. 185/91, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 91-936 dated August 15, 1991, to make amendments necessary for the completion of the Desmond Inquiry, in the manner set forth in Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after January 18, 2022.
