The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated May 30, 2022, and pursuant to Section 21K of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Court Act:

        (a) and pursuant to an order of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia dated May 2, 2022, in the matter of The Judges of the Provincial Court and Family Court of Nova Scotia and The Attorney General of Nova Scotia representing Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia and the Governor in Council, Hfx. No. 461108, quashing Order in Council 2017-24 dated February 2, 2017 as it relates to salary recommendations, is pleased to revoke Order in Council 2017-24 dated February 2, 2017 and order that the recommendations of the Nova Scotia Provincial Judges’ Salaries and Benefits Tribunal, for the period of April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2020 and set out in the Tribunal’s Report dated November 18, 2016, issued by Bruce P. Archibald, Q.C., Brian G. Johnston, Q.C., and Ronald A. Pink, Q.C., are hereby confirmed; and

        (b) is pleased to revoke Order in Council 2020-240 dated September 8, 2020 and order that the recommendations of the Nova Scotia Provincial Judges’ Salaries and Benefits Tribunal, for the period of April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2023 and set out in the Tribunal Reports dated November 12, 2019, January 7, 2020, and January 13, 2020, issued by William Kaplan, M. Patricia Towler, and Ronald A. Pink, Q.C., are hereby confirmed.
