The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated August 18, 2023, and pursuant to Section 3 of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Court Act, and Section 5 of Chapter 159 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Family Court Act, is pleased to appoint and designate Judge Perry F. Borden as Chief Judge of the Provincial and Family Courts of Nova Scotia for a term of office of five years effective August 27, 2023.
