The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing dated September 1, 2023, and pursuant to subsection 19(2) of Chapter 8 of the Acts of 1990, the Emergency Management Act, is pleased to approve the further renewal by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing of the state of emergency declared by the Minister under subsection 12(1) of the Emergency Management Act on June 1, 2023, as a result of Nova Scotia wildfires, in the form set forth in Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective at 8:00 p.m. on September 7, 2023, until 8:00 p.m. on September 21, 2023.
