The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated September 26, 2023, and pursuant to Sections 3 and 5 of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Court Act, is pleased, effective on and after September 28, 2023,  to appoint Alonzo Wright, K.C. of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Mark Heerema of Halifax, Nova Scotia, barristers of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia of at least five years standing, to be Judges of the Provincial Court for the Judicial District of the Province of Nova Scotia.
