The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated January 21, 2025, and pursuant to Sections 3 and 5 of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Court Act, is pleased, effective on and after January 24, 2025, to appoint Mark Scott, K.C. of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Brian Warcop of Lantz, Nova Scotia, barristers of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia of at least five years standing, to be Judges of the Provincial Court for the Judicial District of the Province of Nova Scotia.
