The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated February 6, 2025, and pursuant to Section 6 of Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and Section 77 of Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act, is pleased, effective March 6, 2025, for the purposes of acquiring lands at or in the vicinity of Shannon Park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to:

        (a) approve the Minister of Public Works to enter into agreements of purchase and sale with Canada Lands Company CLC Limited, substantially in the form set forth in Appendices I and II attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the agreements; and

        (b) authorize the Minister of Public Works to enter into net debt obligations in the form of an indemnity, and to execute such agreements or other documents as may be required in connection with such transactions.
