The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour, Skills and Immigration and the Minister of Justice dated June 25, 2026, and pursuant to subsection 2(1) of Chapter 104 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Costs and Fees Act, and upon notice of a fee increase having been presented to the Clerk of the House of Assembly in accordance with Section 4 of Chapter 8 of the Acts of 2007, the Fees Act, is pleased to amend the schedules of fees and allowances under Parts I and II of the Act, incorporated into regulations in accordance with Section 15 of Chapter 3 of the Acts of 2004, the Financial Measures (2004) Act, to determine fees in respect of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program of the Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration, in the manner set forth in Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after September 1, 2026.
