The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and the Minister of Community Services, dated the 15th day of February, A.D., 1991, pursuant to Section 21 of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, An Act respecting Judges of the Provincial Court is pleased to receive the report of the Nova Scotia Judicial Salary Tribunal dated January 25, 1991, containing its recommendations pertaining to the salaries for Provincial and Family Court Judges, and is pleased to order that the Tribunal's recommendations be implemented and that, accordingly, the salaries of Judges of the Provincial Court and Family Court shall be paid at the following rates: (a) effective the 1st day of April, A.D., 1991, $102,100.00 per annum, with no change to the additional $6,000.00 per annum for each of the Chief Judges established effective the 1st day of April, A.D., 1990; and (b) for Judges not receiving an annual salary, no change in the per diem rate of $300.00, established effective the 1st day of April, A.D., 1988.
