The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General dated April 22, 1991, pursuant to Section 3 of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Judges of the Provincial Court Act, is pleased to appoint His Honour Judge Elmer J. MacDonald of Halifax, Halifax County, as Chief Judge of the Provincial Court for a term of office commencing June 1, 1991 and ending March 31, 1996.
