The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General dated June 10, 1997, pursuant to Section 3 of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Court Act, is pleased to appoint William B. Digby, Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, a Barrister of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia of at least 5 years' standing, to be Judge of the Provincial Court for the Judicial District of the Province of Nova Scotia and to determine the salary of the said William B. Digby, Q.C., to be at the rate recommended from time to time by the tribunal appointed pursuant to Section 21 of the Provincial Court Act, the said salary to be in full remuneration for day and night sittings of the Provincial Court, effective June 11, 1997.
