Copies (1) Letter from Henry Newton to Capt. Smyth, requesting that all vessels not furnished with proper Custom House documents be stopped. (2) Same to same, stating that restriction extends to all docked vessels. (3) Letter from Hardymon to Lieu. Clarke enclosing Newton's first letter.
