Bird's Eye Views

Another wonderful source of information for built-heritage research is the 'bird's eye view' map, which depicts a town or city from the overhead perspective. These views feature buildings, streets and prominent landmarks, as well as conveying a spatial sense of the physical landscape. the Nova Scotia Archives has 'bird's eye views' for the following communities:
