Tom Connors: 'The Old Sport'

"This is the man who once jockeyed [sic] Geo. Brown but would never repeat." At bottom of photo: "One of the finest oarsmen to show his wares in Halifax. He was in his prime in 1871." Photo has a number on it at the lower left corner, on a flower pot "53480" possibly a studio number for the photograph.
