During the Days of the Ex-
plosion in the Words of the
Report, "One and All Proved
Themselves More Than
Worthy of the Great Order to
Which They Belong."

The report of the year's work of
the Chebucto Chapter, I.O.D.E,
presented and adopted at the recent
annual meeting of that Chapter is as
follows.

Officers 1917-19.

Mrs. Odevaine - Regent
Mrs. Allen Duffus - 1st. Vice Re-
gent.
Mrs. R. A. Corbett - 2nd Vice Re-
gent.
Mrs. R. B. Willis - Secretary.
Miss H. Mackinlay - Treasurer
Miss. H. Evans - Standard Bearer.
"The Chebucto Chapter I.O.D.E.
has just completed another year of
its life, and such a year for the end
makes the beginning seem very
small. However we did our best as
events befell and the first part of
the year deserves some mention.
" We have worked, as a Chapter, one
morning a week at the Women's
Council House, our work there con-
sisted of making up trench shirts,
children's petticoats etc., for the Re-
lief fFund. The average attendance
was excellent all year through. SOme
of our members also worked once
a week at Dalhousie University pick-
ing over sphagnum moss, which is
used for surgical dressings, and
others collect monthly for the Un-
ion Jack Club. Since the disaster we
have also done our share at the Mun-
icipal Chapter's I.O.D.E. Home for
Children.
"Our greatest work of the year,
however, has been the Union Jack
Club for Soldiers and Sailors. This
Club has been running in Halifax for
almost two years and a half, and was
getting into very low water financial-
ly, when last April, the Citizens Com-
mittee asked us to take over the Can-
