I.S. Copley and Charles Wetherall to Henry Bathurst, third Earl of Bathurst, letter, 4 pages; early 20th century typed copy of original document dated 13 July 1826. Bathurst was Secretary for War and the Colonies and intensely interested in developing natural resources in Britain's growing empire.
