It appearing to me that a Warrant of Survey hath been duly executed according to His Majesty's Instructions and the orders of his Excellency this forenoon and that the Surveyor General of the Woods hath certified that the land described is not within any Reservation for this Crown. [Let?] a Grant [be?] prepared according to the King's Instructions and [in] [this] [inserted?] form, taking care to annex the plan thereto, and to [insert?] the Commencements of [quitkent?]

Requested by Mi'kmaq Chief Philip Bernard including Warrant to the Chief Surveyor of Lands Charles Morris to measure and lay out 500 acres at St. Margaret's Bay, with Morris' reply, and original memorial from Bernard. Also, a memorial from Solomon Jeremiah, Michael Jeremiah, Joseph Glod and others regarding land upon which to settle.
