Piers note: No. 32A. Residences of Military People: Residence, No.20 Tobin Street, Halifax. Pitch-roofed wooden cottage with pediment in front probably built about 1840. It belonged to Charles Stayner in 1862, to N. Silver in 1873, and to Reverend John Forrest in 1884. Flat-roofed house to right (No. 22) belonged to Peter Lynch, barrister. (Winter view). Looking Southwest.
