11: The first house built by Mr. S.S. Thorne. Altered by Mr. Fader. Built 1824. Seen on his daughter's sampler and in the corner of the first St. James' Church picture.12: The James H. Thorne house on Court St., to which his father moved about 1865, when James went to Halifax.
13: The S.S. Thorne house. Altered beautifully by Dr. W. Harlow. Later burned.
