The Grand Hotel

The Grand Hotel’s architecture was without a doubt spectacular. This impressive building was three story brick with a mansard roof and at its opening in 1894 even had electric lighting. It is rumored that Meredith Wilson wrote the well-known Christmas carol, “It’s Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas” while staying here.
