Halifax 10th August 1782
Dear Sir
I received last night your letter dated from Bacon's. [S.A.H.?] has this day made a second representation to the [Gov't?] with a requisition for at least an Officer's Party of 30 men. I don't yet know the result.
Enclos'd there is a letter for Capt Brett; which, after you read and Seal'd, forward to Annapolis by the Courier, who is the Bearer of this.
Enclos'd you have also a description of Deserters, which you will make publick.
There is a large Ship at Lunenburg with a [Carhel? Carkel?] and American Prisoners, as they declare from England to Boston. A Man of War is now going for [full?] information.
