upon the lot of land to such Grantee herein before particularly conveyed, and do not and shall not clear improve and cultivate the sad lot to the best of the power and ability of such respective Grantee, and is such wise that each lot may become Land fit to be moved or ploughed - There and in that case at the end and expiration of the said Term of Seven Years, the Grant in this Indenture contained of every lot which at that time shall remain uncleared, uncultivated and unimproved, in breach of this Proviso [sp?] and [illegible] shall as far as respects every such lot be wholly void; and it shall and may be lawful to and for the said Thomas N Jeffery his Heirs and Assigns into and upon each and every lot that shall at the end of the said term of Seven Years be so uncleared, uncultivated, and unimproved to reenter and the same to have again repossess [?] and reenjoy [?] as of his first and former Estate, and as fully and effectually as if this Indenture had never been made - And it is hereby further declared and agreed by and between the parties hereunto and it is so further conditions of this Indenture that if any [illegible] of the said Grantees shall abandon, depart from or cease to [illegible] on the lot of land to him granted as aforesaid for and during the space of one year at any one time during the said terms of seven years, there and in every such case the grant herein before made to the person so abandoning departing from and ceasing to reside on his said Lot shall cease determine and be wholly void, and it shall and may be lawful for the said Thomas N Jeffery his Heirs and assigns in manner as aforesaid at the end of such year of absence to enter into and upon the Lot so abandoned, and the same to have again of his first and former Estate in the same any thing herein contained to the contrary thereof notwithstanding and the said Thomas N Jeffery for himself, his Heirs, Executors and Administrators doth covenant promise and agree to and with the said Tobin Maxfield, Aaron Hamilton, Sambo [sp?] Hamilton, William Hamilton, John Hamilton, Samuel Hamilton, Jack Hamilton, James Hamilton, Harry Hamilton and July [sp?] Hamilton and each of there, their and each of their Heirs, Executors, Administrators, and Assigns, [illegible] each and every of the said Grantees shall and may at [illegible]
