This Indenture, made the nineteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen, between James Wilson of Cobequid Road, in the County of Halifax and Province of Nova Scotia. Farmer of the one part, Thomas Williams of Cobequid Pond in the Province of Nova Scotia (a man of color) Labourer of the other part Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of five pounds current money of Nova Scotia in hand paid to the said James Wilson, by the said Thomas Williams, at before the unsealing and delivery of these servants, the receipt whose of is hereby acknowledged, he the said James Wilson, has granted, bargained, sold [alieued?], [enfeoffed?], and confirmed and by these Presents, Does grant, bargain, sell [alieu?], [ensse off?] and confirm unto the said Thomas Williams his heirs and assigns forever, all that tract of land, containing five acres, [illegible] lying and being on the Southern side of the [Public?] Road leading from Halifax to Truro, beginning on Southeastern line of Dennis Ring, from thence to extend one hundred rods along said road, until it comes to land belonging to said James Wilson and to extend directly back from said Road until the said five acres is made up to the said Thomas Williams, with all and singular the house, outhouses, mills, barns, stables, buildings, ways, waters, water courses, ponds, easements, commodities, [teneditaments?], and appurtenances thereof on thereto belonging on any wise appertaining, with the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, [rents?], issues and profits, with all the right, title, interest, claim, property and demand which he now has or hereafter have into...
