The Committee of His Majesty's Council, to whom were referred for Examination, the Accounts of the Honourable N. Jeffery Collector of His Majesty's Customs, for [rictualling] and other disbursements attending the Refugee Blacks from the United States of America, landed in this Province from His Majesty's Ships -- Report, That they have had the same under their consideration for the period between the 27th of April and the [20th] of July last, and have found them correct, with vouchers for all the charges contained in the Abstract thereof, numbered from 1- to 21 inclusive. Amounting to Two thousand five hundred and twenty seven pounds [twenteen] shillings and one penny half penny currency, and also the sum of Eight hundred and forty eight pounds three shillings and four pence currency, being the sum charged by the said Thomas N. Jeffery for his care & trouble in the execution of this service as authorised [authorized] by the Right Honourable Earl Bathurst in his letter to His Excellency Sir John C. Sherbrooke, dated
