June 29th 1797.

The Maroons Were received into this
Province conformable to His Majesty's
commands, with instructions to me, for
their comfortable support in all things,
and to enable me thereto, I was directed to
draw Bills on the Right Honourable the
Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's
Treasury - totally and intirely independent
of this Province, which will not be
encumbered with any cost of charge for
these people. The Government of the
