          Kentville NS April 22nd 1852
          Mr. J. Easson
          Dear Sir
          I arrived here safe on
Monday night, And am getting on well in The Telegraph
Business I think I will be back in a Fortnight. You must
keep cool I am allmost well, I have a first-rate time here
I can only write you a short letter to day, for I don’t get
Much chance. I will write you a long one on Sunday and
give you a sketch of the times. Answer this by the next
Mail. Give my love to all I will write on Sunday
The House is full of Borders and we have to sleep
Four & Six in a room.
