Letter to "Mr. Hallowell"

          In regard to the Wood Contract
          for the Next Year we desire You will
          let us know by Mackay if there is any
          Chance of hireing a Proper Vessell or Vessells
          for its an Affair of Great Consequence but we
          see very plainly that a Sloop that will
          Carry 50 or 55 Cords will do it with care
          Provided she is here by 10th April [and]
          Continue Untill last Oct.  [and] has a Good
          Master and Crew for this Sloop only Carries
          44 and 45 Cord and will have Carried the whole
          excepting one trip and This Master cannot
          say but he has met with good treatment
          both here and at Chignectou and earnt a good
          sum for his owners [which] will encourage
          others and you have time before You
          [go look] out but the Perticulars we shall
          write you by Mackay and are Sir
          With etc.
