Moir's Limited, manufacturers of biscuits, bread and confectionery, was founded in 1815 by Benjamin Moir. By the turn of this century, the firm was best known for its high-grade chocolates and candies, its 'XXX' brand being a staple product known and in demand throughout Canada.
