Payment within this Province, and that his Excellency might Issue out his Proclamation to that Effect
 


     Also Voted, & agreed, that all Traders to & from this Province shou'd be forbid by his Excellencys Proclamation to transport any Cattle or other Provisions (Corn excepted) more than will serve to Victuall their Crews for two months each Voyage. And that ye French Inhabitants be Likewise forbid by his Excellcy’s sd proclamation to ship Clandestinely for ye Neighbouring Colonies any Corn, Cattell, Sheep, Hogs or other Provisions at any Ports, but this of Annapolis Royall only, within this Province; on Penalty of twelve months imprisonment, Confiscation of Vessell & Cargo, & to pay a fine of Fifty Pounds. New England Currency whereof half to be given to ye Informer. adjourn'd

     His ExceIlency acquainted ye Board, that he had been inform'd that the Indians had Committed an affront to his Majesties Person & Governm.t by forcibly rescuing out of ye Hands of Captn John Cate (Com.r of a Schooner belonging to Piscataqua) John Turnoe an Apprentice belonging to one of his Majesties Subjects at Boston New England, who had deserted from his Service, & was taken att ye sd Cates request to his Excellency & put on board his Vessell at Minas by his Excellency's order to Mr. Bourg & ye other Deputies belonging to that place: and that ye sd Cate & Mr. Prudt Robishau Jun. Inhabitant of Annapolis Royall, who was sd
