     An Order to Mr. Robert Wroth was issued out by his Excellency in Council to take M.r William Winniet aforesaid into safe Custody. Before the sd Warrant was deliver'd to the Officer. Mr. William Winniet was sent for in by his Excellency's Order, he haueing some dayes before tax'd the General with sayeing he would ruin him and being charg'd to produce his Author declared that M.r Boudre had inform'd him that Captain Savage had told him So. Mr. Peter Boudre then being out of the Province) Upon which [30] Upon which Arthur Savage was sworne Deposed that he never Said the words, nor inform'd sd Boudre, and further that his Excellency had never said so to him, nor that he had so much as a peake at him.
 





     Upon M.r William Winniet request being in Custody his Excellency and Council granted him the favour of being Confin 'd to his own house till Fryday next' At or before s.d time he promist to comply wth S.d Orders of Council.
 


At a Council held at the Honb1e Liev.t Governors house in his Majestys Garrison of Annapolis Royall upon Fryday 14th Octob.e 1720
