     Macqueen to send it to him; Whereupon the Govr Ordered Mr St Ovide's Letter translated into English to be read & afterwards the Answer aforesaid, which being done Accordingly, The Board approved thereof & Agreed that the said Answer without any Amendments should be sent away by Mr Macqueen

     Then His Honour presented to the Board the Declaration of Ensign Vane & Mr Nolen whom he had Sent [455] Sent along with Pierre the Indian Chief, to Recover what they could of the goods & Effects of the Brigantine the Baltimore, Whereby it Appeared that the Indians had restored the Brigt shaloop, some old Clothes, Arms, Sixty six Indentures & some other things of small Value; And that further they had heard that Charles Muse had confess'd to the Priest Cheveraux that one Jonathn Ridge to whom he was Pilot had taken away the Mainsail, some Rigging & six swivel Guns; which being read the same was Ordered to be kept on file

     His Honour communicated to the Board, two letters from the Board of Trade about Matters Relating to the Affairs of the Goverment, Which were read, Two letters from Mr Cheveraux in relation to the Effects of the Brigantine the Baltimore & praying his leave to return & about the three Deserters whom in Obedience to the Governors Order they had apprehended & sent back to the Garrison by Mr Gautier, Which were also Read;
 
Two Letter from the Board of Trade read & Considered.
