Recorded as Enemys to this his Majestys Government in order to be punished when ever the Government may be able to force & bring them to Justice; And to take no farther Notice thereof at present, it being in Vain to give them any further precautions, they having So frequently Disobeyed and Slighted the Governours Orders

     The Said two Deputees Rene Grange and ffrancis Leblanc being called and Examined Accordingly they Acquainted the Board Viz.t

     That Paul Mellanson & John Gotrot had been at the River S.t Johns

     Bellhumeur and Piere Allan with Phillip Mellanson and S.d Pierre had been at Pentaguit and at John Denis, by Montdesart, from whom they had brought a Shaloop one of the Prizes made on the New England ffishermen by the Indians

     M.r William Winniett having Rec.d a Letter from Said Bellhumeur (alias), Burg came and Shew'd the same to the Governor and there being a Parragraph therein wherein he Says (J auray plusieurs Circonstance a vous Communiquer Sy nous parlions de Viva Voix que je n'ose Confier Sur Ie papier &.ca

Letter to the Gov from Ignace the priest

     The Honourable L.t Governor Acquainted the Board that he had this Morning Received a Letter from the Priest Igna.ce, and had brook it open before he knew from whence it came; and having Read the Same Judged proper to lay it before the Board for advice thereon
