     At the Same Place on fryday the 22.d January 1724/5
 


     The Honourable President & the Same Gentlemen all Present
 


     The Honourable L.t Governor having Rec.d the Aforesaid Letter from the Deputees of Cobaquit laid the Same before the Board and it being Read
 
Piere Piere the preist Ordained to be Banish'd

     The Board Agreed that the Priest Pere Piere was Insolent in Assuming (According to the Custom of Priest ffelix the title of Missionary of Cobaquit before he had Obtained it by Approbation from the Govermm.t . And therefore Orderd that the Said Priest be Banished from the Country, and y.t the Inhabitants of Cobaquit have Libert to get another Missionare providing that he be not of the Provincial of Paris and that he Come here According to the Methods prescribed by Proclamation [122]
 





     At a Council held at the Honourable L.t Governor John~ Doucetts house in His Majestys Garrrison of Annapolis Royall on Tewsday the 26th January 1724/5

     The Honourable L.t Governor Acquainted the Board that he had Rec.d a Letter from Pere Isidore bearing Date [blank left in MS.] by an Inhabitant Lately Arrived from Cobaquit wherein Mention is Made of a Difference in ye Parish of Cobaquit in Relation .to the building and Establishing of two Romish Chaples, intimating at the Same time that by Appli cation from the Inhabitants of Said Parish to the Bishop of Quebec and the Governm.t of Cape Breton, they had Obtained a Decision of the Case, which however did not Satisfie the Whole; And the Same Decision being Contained in Some papers which the Bearer of the Letter had in his possession his Honour the Govemor Demanded the Same; they were laid before the Board and being Read
