Should you wish for more particular [information] as regards this project, either for your own satisfaction or [illegible] of the [President], I beg leave to refer You to the Bearer of this, Charles Budd, who has been very useful to me in my dealings [with] these poor savages -

The donations hitherto afforded these Indians have [proved?] as effectually beneficial as they were encouraging - they have [illegible] two supplies, - and, if the funds appropriated to their benefit be [?not] yet exhausted, they should, according to my original proposal, [have?] a third -This last one I would recommend to be in the shape
