The Royal Navy in Nova Scotia Waters

The Union Castle Steam Ship Line, HMS Llandovery Castle was sunk 27 June 1918, 116 miles west from Fastnet. One hundred forty-six lives were lost, including 14 nursing sisters. She had arrived at Halifax on 17 June, discharging 644 military patients. She departed Halifax 20 June 1918.
