Consumption; - We have sent you the articles mentioned in the enclosed Schedule - which if they are not wanted may be advisable to return in the vessel except the Corn and the Potatoes and Garden seeds. - The Potatoes are sent principally for seed from a possibility of those planted last season having failed - or been used during the Winter - Do not omit in your report to state the means that may have attended your endeavours to catch & cure fish -- If you have any quantity worth sending up or Seal oil for market let both be sent

Nothing has yet been determined upon in regard to Light Houses - but if you have seen any Cause to alter your opinion either as to the Situation or Construction of them you will of course state it in your report

We hope this will find you and your family all doing well - and in the expectation of soon receiving an agreeable report from you
