milk, butter, tea & sweetning, and every thing that he would possibly collect to make us comfortable during the whole week that we was working there, and he was with us every day in the boats and gave us abundance of nourishment whilst he took but little himself.
As witness our hands at Sable Island this 19th day of February 1848.
