Additional Notes: Microfilm 13256 is the Parrboro Township Book, 1760-1822, and includes cattle marks,1786. A few deaths after 1822 and a few births recorded as having taken place in Rhode Island and Long Island, U.S.A. These statistics have been bound and are microfilmed in that order. The arrangement does not always run chronologically, and the births, deaths and marriages etc. do not appear as separate items.

Microfilm 10908 contains a typescript of the Parrsboro Township Book, 1786-1821.

MG 4 vol. 232 is entitled Township Records of Southampton: A Register of Births, Marriages, Deaths and Marks of Cattle in the District of Maccan, Nappan, and Shouthampton for the County of Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. This volume also includes entries for River Herbert, Barronsfield, and occasionally Parrsboro. Researchers are advised to use these records in conjunction with the two original registers for Francklin Manor, Elysian Fields, etc. There is close correlation and also overlap between these two sets of records (microfilm 12183).
