Additional Notes: MG 4 vol. 18a is an index of names for the Horton Township Book on microfilms 12599 and 12600.

MG 4 vol. 74 is a set of eight loose sheets containing vital statistics information from Horton Township. The folder labels the papers 1751-1889 but most of the dates are in the 1880s. There are also newspaper clippings of deaths and marriages pasted to the sheets. The larger bound part of this volume is boxed with vol. 109 and vol. 117. This box is located numerically at vol 117. It appears to be the original Township Book.

MG 4 vol. 74a is photocopy of the Partition Book, Horton Township.

MG 100 vol. 74 #23 is a photocopy of an index to the cattle marks in the Horton Township Book.

RG 1 vol. 362 is entitled the Partition Book, Horton Township. It appears to be the original document, or perhaps a handwritten copy.

Microfilm 15038 contains the original Horton Township Book, 1751-1883, in its entirety. It has an index of names in the beginning of the book.

Microfilm 12600 is "Apparently" the original Horton Township Book. It contains ear marks from 1761-1845 and vital statistics from 1740-1877. Some of the births and marriages are recorded as taking place in the New England States. First birth date in Horton is 1763. Statistics are arranged alphabetically.

Microfilm 12599 contains a Horton Township Book. Included are vital statistics,1751-1909; cattle marks 1777-1882; and a list of legally qualified medical practitioners, 1827-1873.
