Budget: engagement
The Government of Nova Scotia is preparing the 2025 to 2026 budget.
About the engagement
Nova Scotia is a growing province. As our population grows, so does the demand for public services and programs (like healthcare, education, affordability support, housing and social programs). The provincial budget reflects government's priorities and commitments. It also outlines how government pays for programs and services.
Budget decisions help shape the next provincial budget and future budgets. It’s important that government understands what’s important to Nova Scotians and how they need to be supported. Feedback from Nova Scotians informs priorities for the budget and provides transparency and accountability when it comes to how tax dollars are collected and spent.
